These are the best sunglasses I have had for golf. I play in Texas where the sun is very bright and these lenses really cut down on the glare. The dark lens have a little rosy tint to them and it really works great on bright days. I use to have take my other glasses off when putting but these I do not. I purchased these glasses as a replacement to the Oakley Flak Jacket XLJ that I used daily for almost two years. I've always had the "minimalist" approach to sun glasses and my transition from the wire frame style to the molded Flak Jacket XLJ was a serious jump. I was quite please with the fit. However, after my Bulldog puppy decided to make a late night snack out of them, I was forced to look for a new pair of sunglasses. When I stumbled upon the GasCan series, I was hesitant. They looked great. But how would the fit? It was a gamble but one that I was willing to make to have a great looking pair of sunglasses. I purchased them and within two days, they were at my doorstep. Upon removing them from their box, I was impressed by the sleek matte black appearance and black polarized lenses. I immediately slipped them onto my face and behold, an even more comfortable pair of sunglasses than the previous Flak Jacket XLJ. The fit was smooth and adhered to my face well. The only downfall that I could find is that the matte finish can be a bit slippery. The only trouble this seems to cause is a lack of resistance when positioned on top of my head while in doors. If I were to bend forward, I could see them potentially slipping off. Otherwise, this pair of sunglasses gets a 5 star rating from me. I would definitely recommend these to anyone who wants a good looking accessory without breaking the bank for a designer pair of sunglasses. (Posted on 5/19/2024)
