This was my third attempt at buying sunglasses from Amazon and thankfully, third time's the charm! I really wanted a pair of purple polarized aviator glasses... started with MK Chelsea, which were ridiculously large on my face. Second try was Oakley Tie Breaker, which were too small. I was about to give up on online sunglasses purchases when I ran into someone in person who had these and they are perfectly sized... YAY! They're solidly made, but lightweight. I actually forget sometimes that I'm wearing them. While they're not as dark as what I'm used to, the polarization is great, so they reduce the glare enough to make up for the shade difference. The purple lenses are beautiful and I love that they're silver frames instead of the usual gold. The sizing is perfect... not oversized and not too small. The fact that these don't get stuck in my hair when I put them on my head is a huge plus. My only disappointment is that the listing said these were made in USA but mine were made in China. I'm sure these are authentic though and the quality still seems to be great, I just really would have preferred a pair made in the USA. Overall, I am absolutely in love with these shades and am glad I didn't give up before finding them! (Posted on 7/26/2024)
