I wanted a pair of sunglasses for daily wear, especially for driving. These work really well - they are dark enough for sunny conditions yet also let in enough light that I can see well in the rain, and I deal with both daily in Florida, in summer. After a quick treatment with a heat gun to get them adjusted to my face, I love these glasses with a small quibble.

The lenses (I got the 24K polarized ones) are fantastic, with one exception. Colors really jump out, and they are SO clear. I am looking for excuses to wear them they're that good. The one exception, and this is true for most Oakley lenses is that they are reflective as all heck. The backside reflections make wearing a hat with this (when you're outside) almost a must, because those are kind of a pain. I'm sure smarter people than me have reasons for this, but it's just really weird for a pair of sunglasses at a premium price with nearly everything else. (Posted on 6/26/2024)
